Weekly Gatherings

Our weekly gatherings will continue at 10am but the location will potentially vary from week-2-week until we are in our permanent home (keep reading to see those details).

We will primarily be meeting at American Legion as a family-gathering and will be there this weekend!

LOCATION:

American Legion - 207 S Merrill St, Fortville

Sundays at 10am on January 21st and 28th!

From the beginning of Emerge, we’ve been agile and resilient .. and we’re entering into another time of this! We ask that you will bear with us through this 😊

Building Update

The work is moving fast and slow at the same time. The tedious aspects of cutting trim, patching nail holes, etc. adds up quickly. Over the last week, we’ve had a crew of guys in to knock out the interior doors and trims plus install the lights in the sanctuary.

The other aspects of items needed are being listed and knocked out with our goal to be into the building within February. Be sure to jump on SLACK to see the latest and greatest! We will be doing updates on there and asking for you to jump in!

Numbers Recap

As we have stepped into this new year, thus we have a new budget. It’s a stretch budget as we are trying to overestimate the costs that we will incur in the building and we will be monitoring it all closely. The tithes and offering due come in stronger towards the end of the month. During our All Church Meeting on 2.18 (tentatively), we will dive into the finish of 2023 and looking forward into 2024.

Backpack Donations

Did you know that we provide 35 kids with a backpack filled with food each month? We provide some of our local kids from Fortville Elementary a bag of foods to help them make it through the weekend. We need some help to offset the costs of filling these bags and we could use all of the items. HERE’S THE LIST

2024 Bible Reading

We have a good size group of people that have jumped onto our 1 year reading plan that’s featured on our webpage. It’s not too late to jump on! Join us

Child Dedications

We haven’t mentioned this in a while. Did you know that you can choose your date for your child dedication? We will have 1-2 dates per year to offer but we want to keep this open to your schedule for you to be able to invite family and friends. We ask that you plan it out, at least, 7 days in advance of the Sunday. Click here
